Representatives in the Kansas House think the state’s schools need an additional half a billion dollars in annual funding. Yesterday (TUE), they passed a bill to ramp up funding over the next five years. But as Celia Llopis-Jepsen of the Kansas News Service reports, they’ll have to win over the Senate first.
