Kansans are taking a closer look at the man who would replace Gov. Sam Brownback if he accepts a United Nations posting, Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer.

With the possibility that Governor Sam Brownback will leave Kansas to accept an ambassadorship in Italy, attention is turning to Lieutenant Governor Jeff Colyer. Jim McLean, of the Kansas News Service, has this look at the 56-year-old plastic surgeon from Overland Park, who’s next in line for the state’s highest elected office.
