Lawmakers are still waiting for a decision from the Kansas Supreme Court in a lawsuit over education funding. KPR's Stephen Koranda recently spoke with Governor Sam Brownback about that topic and other issues. Brownback has unveiled a new reading initiative and is proposing that lawmakers approve all-day kindergarten, statewide. Brownback says such targeted approaches are a good strategy.
