The Trio Aër, three young musicians from Kansas, recently won a Grand Prize in the National Young Artists Chamber Music and Ensemble Competition. That victory is bringing them to a performance in Merkin Hall in New York City on June 16! The trio came to KPR's Live performance studio with their mentor, Dr. Scott Smith. They amazed us with their performances of the first movement of Anton Arensky's Piano Trio No. 1 and of "Swing Shift"...a 2002 composition by Kenji Bunch.
