  • Musica Vocale is an ensemble made up of highly skilled choral musicians performing literature not often heard in the greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Musica Vocale presents a number of works in conjunction with members of the Kansas City Baroque Consortium. Many of the the ensemble singers bring extensive experience as music educators, performers, and conductors. Musica Vocale is conducted by Arnold Epley, Conductor Laureate of the Kansas City Symphony Chorus and Professor Emeritus, William Jewell College. Accompaniment for rehearsals is provided by Aurelien Boccard.
  • The Kansas African Studies Center coordinates and develops the interdisciplinary interests of Africanists across the University of Kansas, and promotes the understanding and study of Africa in the university, the state, and the wider region. The Center's mission includes the enhancement of curriculum, the sponsorship of research, the organization of conferences, the promotion of special projects, the acquisition of library and related resources, and the implementation of outreach programs. KASC actively pursues funding opportunities to make these activities possible and assist the university in their realization.
  • The mission of The Kansas City Kansas Community Orchestra is to provide the opportunity for volunteer musicians to enhance their musical talents by sharing their love of music with the community. The goal of the Orchestra is to cultivate the next generation of musicians while offering the community an outlet to express their talents. The Orchestra is a 501 (c) 3 organization. We welcome and encourage monetary donations in order to further the goals of the Organization.
