Rachel Lindbloom After 29 years of state of Kansas service, I retired as Health Care Data Analysis Chief at Kansas Department of Health and Environment in 2011. I am married to Allen Macfarlane who retired from the Kansas Geological Survey after 35 years of service as a hydrologist and has taught in the Topeka Collegiate Middle School science program for the last five years. I have three grown children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. I serve as the Membership Co-Chairperson and Treasurer-Elect for Altrusa of Lawrence; the Moderator of Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church in Lawrence and serves as a Deacon; and is the Interest Groups and the Publications Committee Chairperson for University Women's Club at the University of Kansas. I Chair the Program Book and Social Committees for the Preceptor Gamma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi in Lawrence. My hobbies are quilting, antiques bridge, cooking, walking, reading and water aerobics. I belong to two gourmet dinner groups and like to garden and visit with family and friends.
