Mark Edwards
Mark Edwards comes to Kansas Public Radio with over 30 years in the radio industry, having worked in markets such as Atlanta, New Orleans and Boston. While in Boston, Mark was the music and program director for WCRB, which was at the time the highest-rated commercial classical station in the country. Mark has a great passion for music. He’s a rusty pianist…and loves to sing in local choirs. You’ll find Mark at almost any local classical music concert. Originally from northern Maine, Mark studied music in Montreal, Canada and at the University of Maine. In the early 2000s, Mark lived and worked in Kansas City. "I loved the area then," comments Mark, ..."and I'm thrilled to be back and working for Kansas Public Radio, sharing the greatest music ever written with our listeners!"
