Andrea Fuhrman received her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, and her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She's been an artist in resident in Costa Rica and Finland as well as Millay Colony in NY and Helene Wurlitzer in Taos. Her public art includes Kenwood Cove Water Park, an 11' x 36' Mexican Byzantine smalti glass mosaic mural and Smoky Hill Festival limited edition print in 2013; she won first place fine art at Smoky Hill in 2007. She has been an Artist Exchange participant at Salina Art Center, and has exhibited at Kansas City Artist Coalition and CityArts in Wichita and Lawrence Art Center. Fuhrman will be exhibiting her works on paper; collage and paint at Diver Studio, 424 S Commerce in Wichita, opening April 29th from 6 - 10 pm.
