Weather Cancellations and Closures for Monday, January 26, 2026

K-12 Schools:

  • Bishop Seabury Academy closed Monday (all classes and activities)
  • Lawrence Public Schools closed Monday (all classes and activities are cancelled, including Boys & Girls Club, and all district buildings and parking lots will be closed.)
  • Oskaloosa Public Schools closed Monday

Universities:

  • University of Kansas Lawrence and Edwards campuses will not open until 10 a.m. All classes prior to 10 a.m. are cancelled. Designated weather-essential employees are to report to work as normal. Click here for more information.
  • Emporia State University closed Monday. All classes, events and on-campus activities are cancelled for the day. Only essential personnel should report to work as directed by their supervisor. Classes are expected to resume as normal on Tuesday, January 27.
