Federal employees have returned to work after the record 35-day government shutdown … including those at Farm Service Agency offices around the country. Harvest Public Media’s Esther Honig visited one, finding that farmers are eager to sign up for crucial safety net programs and federal workers are sifting through a backlog of paperwork.
