KCC Approves Westar Electricity Rate Decrease

The Kansas Corporation Commission approved a $66 million dollar decrease to Westar Energy electricity rates this (Thursday) morning. From the Kansas News Service, Madeline Fox reports from Topeka.

In related news, Westar Energy’s changes to electricity rates could increase costs for some customers who harvest their own solar power.
