The documentary "Prairie Women: Engaging Women of the Flint Hills" premiered in Emporia earlier this month.  If you missed that public showing, you can still watch it on TV this week.  "Prairie Women" will air this Thursday on KCPT, Kansas City Public Television.  One of the women profiled in the show is Patty Reece, who has a country home west of Alma.  She and her husband bought an old brick building called The Volland Store and have turned it in to an art space and community gathering place.  Producer Dave Kendall, of Prairie Hollow Productions, provides this sneak preview.

That's a segment from the documentary "Prairie Women: Engaging Women of the Flint Hills," which will air Thursday on KCPT TV.  The next public screening of this film takes place Sunday in Manhattan.  For more information, visit the Events page at www.prairiehollow.net.  Or, connect with Prairie Hollow Productions on Facebook.
