For soybean farmers across the country, 2017 will be remembered as a historically destructive year due to the pesticide called dicamba, a weed killer that’s been blamed for more than 3.6 million acres of damaged soybeans. Harvest Public Media’s Kristofor Husted reports farmers already are planning for the 2018 planting season with an eye to protecting their crops from whatever pesticides their neighbors spray.
