Preparing for Doomsday: The Prepping Industry is Booming, Even in Kansas

There have always been Americans worried about some pending religious, social, or natural cataclysm. But the business of catering to those fears -- and helping people prepare to survive the next big calamity -- have changed dramatically. Reporter Frank Morris, with the Kansas News Service, went underground to find out how doomsday prepping has morphed in the age of Trump.  


Frank Morris is a reporter for KCUR Radio in Kansas City and a contributor to the Kansas News Service, a consortium of stations collaborating to cover news of interest to Kansans.
