Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Portions of KPR Listening Area

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of the KPR listening area, including Lawrence, Manhattan and Topeka. It's in effect from 6 p.m. (WED) through 6 a.m. Thursday. An advisory has also been issued for the greater Kansas City metro area and surrounding counties. It goes into effect at 6 p.m. (WED) and runs through 9 a.m. Thursday.

Snow accumulation of two to four inches is possible throughout the covered advisory area. More information is available at weather.gov.
