A Jackson County, Missouri, judge yesterday (WED) awarded $434 million to the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City in its long-running lawsuit against the Hospital Corporation of America. The foundation sued HCA over whether the corporation fulfilled the pledges it made when it bought several Kansas City area hospitals. Heartland Health Monitor's Dan Margolies reports.
