Former President Bill Clinton is headed to the University of Kansas campus Monday. He’ll be receiving the 2015 Dole Leadership Prize. Bill Lacy, with the Dole Institute of Politics, says they’re recognizing Clinton for his work during his time in the White House.

“His work on bipartisanship, working with a Republican-controlled Congress to do things like balance the budget, pass welfare reform, pass the North American Free Trade Accord,” says Lacy.

The Dole Leadership Prize recognizes public service. President Clinton will accept the award and then give an address.

KPR will offer live coverage of the speech at 1 p.m. on KPR2.

The Dole Institute will also stream live video of the event.
