​Pork Checkoff on Trial; Ad Campaign Gets Day in Court

Have pork producers been hurt by a media campaign designed to help them?  That’s one central question in a lawsuit by pork producers against the National Pork Board. The suit questions the legality of the mandatory “checkoff” charge for hog farmers to fund the board's ad campaigns. The lawsuit is now headed for trial. Harvest Public Media’s Amy Mayer explains.
