Linda Kay Miller, of Alma, is accused of rerouting payments intended for the university. U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom claims Miller had access to checks made payable to the institute.
Miller has been indicted on three counts. Each carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison. If convicted, she could also be fined up to $250,000 for each charge.
