NCAA: Shockers Win, KU and K-State Hope to Follow

Wichita State has advanced in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. WSU, playing in Salt Lake City, defeated Pittsburgh 73-to-55 yesterday (THUR). The Shockers next challenge comes tomorrow (SAT) as they take on top-seeded Gonzaga.

Meanwhile, the K-State Wildcats will take on LaSalle at 2:10 this (FRI) afternoon in Kansas City.

Top-seeded KU plays the last game of the day at Kansas City's Sprint Center tonight (FRI). As KPR's Greg Echlin reports, the counterpart to KU coach Bill Self is struggling for recognition.
