U.S. Attorney for Kansas to Hold Civil Rights Symposium

For the second straight year, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom's office is holding a free symposium on civil rights. Grissom says one of the topics will be the continued influence of hate groups:
 

 

The symposium is scheduled for Friday, June 8th, at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park. Grissom says other topics will include human trafficking, civil rights for returning veterans, and the rights guaranteed under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required. You can do that online, at
