Taking the KS Regents to Task over Coursework

(Photo via sxc.hu)The Kansas Board of Regents is coming under fire for allegedly watering-down college coursework. Some professors feel they're under pressure to relax academic standards so that more courses and credit hours will transfer smoothly between community colleges and state universities. Commentator John Richard Schrock says this effort will result in a devalued college degree.

Commentator John Richard Schrock is a professor at Emporia State University, where he trains future biology teachers. Find more of his work on the KPR website.
