Kansas Jayhawks Advance to Elite 8 with Win Over NC State

Elijah Johnson came through for the Kansas Jayhawks for the second-straight game. Johnson drove down the lane for a layup with 13.5 seconds left to secure KU's 60-57 win over North Carolina State at the NCAA's Midwest Regional Semifinal in St. Louis.  KU advanced to the Regional Finals for the second-straight season where it will face top-seeded North Carolina Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm.  With KU up by one-point, Tyshawn Taylor located Johnson running to the basket on an out-of-bounds play. Johnson's basket gave the Jayhawks a three-point lead and KU was able to keep NC State from scoring in the final seconds of the game to hold on for the win.  Next, Kansas will take on North Carolina, hoping to advance to the Final Four for the 14th time in school history -- and the first time since winning the National Championship in 2008.
