Public Comments Show Objections to Utility Merger

The Kansas Corporation Commission received more than 100 comments from the public. Nearly all opposed the merger.

The commission that regulates utilities in Kansas asked residents to write in with their comments on a proposed merger of the two largest utilities in the state. Almost all of the comments opposed the merger. Brian Grimmett of the Kansas News Service has details.
