The coronavirus is disrupting daily life in Kansas in all kinds of ways. Schools are closed. So are courts. There’s a ban on large gatherings. And the number of people with the virus continues to inch up. It now stands at eleven, with the largest cluster of cases in Johnson County. Lee Norman, the state’s chief health officer, sat down with Jim McLean of the Kansas News Service to talk about efforts to slow the spread of the virus.

That’s Kansas Department of Health and Environment Secretary Lee Norman talking with Kansas News Servicereporter Jim McLean. The Kansas News Service reports on health, the many factors that influence it and their connection to public policy. Find more stories at the Kansas News Service website.
