Kansas DCF Not Yet Acting on Welfare Task Force Recommendations

A task force looking into Kansas’s troubled child welfare system recommended the state expand access to welfare programs. But the head of the state agency in charge of foster care and welfare says she doesn’t plan to increase cash assistance and food stamps.
