If you eat fish that's been caught in some parts of Kansas, you should probably check the new Fish Consumption Advisories issued by the state. Kristi Pankratz is with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The advisories are based on mercury and other chemical levels in all forms of aquatic life. The advisories can be found on KDHE's web site, kdheks.gov.
