Kansas and the rest of the country have been stagnant when it comes to math and reading scores over the last decade. That’s according to new national test data for fourth and eighth graders. Efforts to close the achievement gap between minority and non-minority students also seems to have stalled. Stephan Bisaha of the Kansas News Service explains.
