Debate Continues over Safety of NBAF in Manhattan

We return now to a story we’ve been covering for several years -- the debate over NBAF, the huge animal disease lab under construction in Manhattan. Experts say a release of the wildly contagious Foot and Mouth Disease at the proposed National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility could cost the livestock industry millions – or even billions - of dollars. Laura Ziegler has been following the NBAF story for Harvest Public Media and has this update on the lab’s progress.
