Murry Wilson 
| Musician and record producer Murry Wilson is best remembered as the first manager of The Beach Boys and the father of three of the band members – Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson.
Murry Wilson was also the uncle of band member Mike Love. Clearly, “beach music” wasn’t invented in Kansas. But Murry Wilson - the guy who helped create the legendary “Beach Boys sound” - was born in Hutchinson in 1917.
