MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR

Kansas Public Radio, KU, Lawrence, Kansas

Kansas Public Radio (KPR), on the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, is seeking a Membership Coordinator. The Membership Coordinator is responsible for raising funds received from listener/members of KPR through direct mail and on-air fundraising, e-fundraising and telemarketing. Responsibilities include: billing, charging, processing and acknowledging contributions, maintaining the membership database. Help to ensure excellent donor relations through accuracy in records and the accounting of gifts, as well as using cost effective station marketing and promotion, including email, letter campaigns and social media. Work with other development personnel to organize and staff multiple on-air membership drives and other special events. This position also oversees the monthly donor, vehicle donation and matching gift programs. Together with the Director of Development, they work to find new, innovative fundraising techniques to improve membership performance and explore new revenue channels.
