Allen County Gets National Recognition for Efforts to Improve Community Health

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Prize is a big deal. So, when the head of the foundation, Richard Besser, showed up in Iola this week to make the announcement that rural Allen County, Kansas, had won... it was cause for celebration. Jim McLean, of the Kansas News Service, was there and files this report.
