Number of Uninsured People in Kansas is Falling, But Slowly

New information from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that the average uninsured rate in states with Medicaid expansion is 6.5 percent, while the average rate in states without expansion is 11.7 percent.
New information from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that the average uninsured rate in states with Medicaid expansion is 6.5 percent, while the average rate in states without expansion is 11.7 percent.

The number of people without health insurance in Kansas is falling but the uninsured rate is declining more slowly here than in many other states. Jim McLean of the Kansas News Service explains.
