The statewide public smoking ban took effect five years ago in Kansas.

The Clean Indoor Air Act went into effect in Kansas five years ago.  The law prohibits smoking in most public places, including workplaces, public buildings, bars and restaurants. The Heartland Health Monitor’s Bryan Thompson looks back at how the law evolved and endured.
