Beat the summer heat with sweet treats, live music, and more at KPR's Annual Ice Cream Social! Join us on July 28 from 5-7 p.m., at Maceli's in downtown Lawrence (1031 New Hampshire St, Lawrence, KS 66044) to enjoy ice cream from Hy-Vee, live music performed by local artist Sky Smeed, balloon art by Balloonman, and other family-friendly activities. KPR members will also have the opportunity to collect this year's KPR mug*, commemorating Kansas Public Radio's 70th Anniversary.
