For the love of KPR - that's why we're here this spring asking for YOUR support. Kansas Public Radio relies on a connection with you as much as you rely on KPR. The news and music you hear every day informs, enriches and improves your life and that of more than 100,000 other listeners in our community. Not only can you hear an unsurpassed variety of classical, jazz, space age pop and bluegrass, but KPR also connects you with live virtual concerts and unique events.
We’re in this together, so please consider making a pledge today. Membership gifts are the key to KPR’s ability to provide the high-quality music, news and entertainment that you expect. Whether it’s our locally-produced classical and jazz shows or our award-winning news coverage, you can count on KPR for 8,760 hours of programming each year.
Become a part of the KPR crew by donating now. Or join in during the upcoming on-air membership drive, beginning Friday, April 9.
And this spring we have a great week of incentives to give, including:
Power Breakfast - Call in your pledge on Friday, 4/9, 7:30-9 a.m., to DOUBLE your pledge of any amount!
Retro Cocktail Hour Enamel Pin - During Retro Cocktail Hour on Saturday, 4/10, 7-9 p.m. – while supplies last – we’ll be offering RCH pins when donors give $120 (or $10/mo) or more. Listeners who are already Sustainers can get a pin by upgrading by $5/month or by giving an additional gift of $60 or more.
$10 Tuesday - On Tuesday of the drive, 4/13, we'll be encouraging you to join at just $10/month or more, and when you pledge at that level, your gift will be matched by KU Endowment employees. Same goes for upgrading Sustainers!
Fursday - On the Thursday of the drive, 4/15, we’re partnering with the Helping Hands Humane Society of Topeka to recognize member pets all day. When donors make a pledge, Topeka Pet Smart will donate one item to the Topeka Humane Society, and if the donor gives $5/month or more, we’ll send them the adorable KPR cat & dog stickers.
If you are already a Sustaining member, there are a couple ways to upgrade your membership:
If you are giving via EFT or KU Payroll Deduction and would like to upgrade your installment amount, please send a request via email or mail to Membership Director Joanna Fewins, at 1120 W 11th St, Lawrence, KS 66044. If you would like to increase your monthly credit card contributions, click here to enter a new monthly plan (your old one will be canceled), or you may call the pledge line starting Friday, April 9, at 888-577-5268 and tell the staff member* you'd like to upgrade. They will need your credit card number again in order to enter a new plan. *Please Note: We are utilizing a trusted call center out of Texas to take most of our phone pledges.
