Our book club host, Kaye McIntyre shares, "We got such an enthusiastic response from our first Book Club choice -- Ladybird, Collected by Meg Heriford -- that I knew we had to pick a great book for our second event. I haven't seen The Queen's Gambit on Netflix (yet!), but I've heard a lot of good things about it and I was excited to learn it was based on a novel by Walter Tevis. I always love reading the books that are behind movies and television series, and hope our listeners will join me in this look at the book behind the show."
You can buy the book online at Raven Book Store or check it out at your local public library.
Join the discussion ahead of time by joining the KPR Presents Book Club Facebook page. Meet fellow readers and enjoy discussing new novels together.
