"Home on the Range," "Happy Trails" and "Ghost Riders in the Sky." Those are just a few of many famous cowboy songs. "Home on the Range," the official state song of Kansas, was written in Smith County, Kansas in the 1870s -- but it's not the only cowboy song with a Kansas connection. Commentator Rex Buchanan recently read about another one.
