_________________________

According to the Kansas Christmas Tree Growers Association, the Scotch Pine is the most common type of Christmas tree grown in Kansas. The KCTGA says these kinds of trees have medium length needles and stiff branches, making them idea for both light and heavy ornaments. And, they have excellent needle retention. Other types of Christmas trees grown in Kansas include the Virginia Pine, Austrian Pine and White Pine, each with its own unique attributes for the holiday season.  Happy decorating!
