A Different Kind of Membership Drive: Support KPR Today!

Thank you all for your listenership and support for KPR as we navigate through this challenging time in our nation and our community. As the world around us is changing - daily - we have determined that it is in the best interest of our community to suspend the Spring Membership Drive.

We are focusing 100 percent of our efforts on providing noncommercial news, information and entertainment that is core to our mission. We are here to serve our communities. While the financial need is great, the need for information is greater right now.

With that said, we are continuing to find creative ways to raise the money necessary to keep operating, including a generous round of announcements in the coming weeks with special challenges, starting on Friday, March 27. If you're in a financial position to help out, please give us a call at 888-577-5268* or make a pledge at kansaspublicradio.org/support.

Membership gifts are the key to KPR’s ability to provide the high-quality music, news and entertainment that you expect. Whether it’s our locally-produced classical and jazz shows or our award-winning news coverage, you can count on KPR for 8,760 hours of programming each year. Thank you for your support!

*Please Note: We are using a trusted call center out of Texas we've worked with for many years to take all of our pledges this drive.

*If you are already a Sustaining member, there are a couple ways to upgrade your membership:

If you are giving via EFT or KU Payroll Deduction and would like to upgrade your installment amount, please send a request via email or mail to Membership Director Joanna Fewins, at 1120 W 11th St, Lawrence, KS 66044. If you would like to increase your monthly credit card contributions, click here to enter a new monthly plan (your old one will be canceled), or you may call the pledge line now at 888-577-5268 and tell them you'd like to upgrade. They will need your credit card number again in order to enter a new plan.

We'll be featuring a number of photographs of spring blooms in our social media feeds in the coming days from the Sensory Garden at Audio-Reader (our sister organization we share a building with). While the Audio-Reader building is temporarily closed to protect its volunteers and staff, the garden is open if you need a short respite from quarantining inside. It's a hidden gem on the KU campus (address is 1120 W 11th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044). All the featured photos are in the slideshow below. And if you'd like to support Audio-Reader's essential service to provide news and information to the blind, visually impaired, and print disabled individuals in Kansas and western Missouri, cick HERE to donate.
