The Lawrence Public Library is bringing a rock legend to town. Kim Gordon, the godmother of grunge and co-founding member of the rock band, Sonic Youth, will participate in this year's 780s Series on Tuesday, May 17, 7:30 p.m., at Liberty Hall.
Kansas Public Radio’s Laura Lorson will visit with Gordon about her life, musical career, and what it was like to witness punk rock enter the music mainstream in the 1990s.
