Louise-Brooks-MashupSandra-FlukeLaura-Moriarty-(c)-Tracy-RasmussenIt's a double-feature on this week's KPR Presents. We'll hear from activist Sandra Fluke, who gained national attention after testifying before Congress on health insurance coverage for birth control. Fluke gave this year's Emily Taylor and Marilyn Stokstad Women's Leadership Lecture at the University of Kansas. We'll also hear from Lawrence author Laura Moriarty, author of The Chaperone, the best-selling novel about silent film star Louise Brooks and her journey from Wichita to New York City. Moriarty just kicked off a national book tour for The Chaperone, which has just been released in paperback.
