UPDATE: KS Senate Approves Sex-Selection Abortion Bill

Kansas senators debated a bill today (TUE) that would bar so-called "sex-selective" abortions. As KPR’s Stephen Koranda tells us, it could be the first of several bills pertaining to abortion restrictions to be discussed in this legislative session.

**UPDATE: The Kansas Senate advanced the bill on a voice vote today (TUE).  It is expected that the measure will receive final approval tomorrow (WED) and be sent to the Kansas House.

Stephen Koranda is KPR's Statehouse reporter.
