For the first time in decades, a Veterans Day parade will be held in downtown Lawrence on November 11th.  Organizers believe this will be the first parade to specifically honor veterans since 1968, the height of the Vietnam War.  Guest Commentator David J. Brown has been thinking about the soldiers who fought in Vietnam... and about those who refused to fight.

Guest Commentator David J. Brown is an attorney.  He lives in Lawrence.
