UPDATE: The statewide tornado drill, originally scheduled for today (TUE), has been postponed until 6:30 Thursday evening.  Due to ongoing thunderstorms and potential re-development of showers and storms today (TUE), the National Weather Service has decided to postpone the tornado drill for our area.

Jillian Rodrigue (JILL-yun ROAD-rig) is with Douglas County Emergency Management, and she says this year's test will be a little bit different.

This week is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Kansas. For more information about the statewide tornado drill, visit weather.gov. You can also clickherehere, or here.
