KU Seeks State Investment in New Med Center Building

University of Kansas officials say a new classroom building for the medical school is needed to expand the number of students it can admit each year. They also say the expansion is needed to maintain the school’s academic standing. But they say it can’t be built without $40 million from the state. Jim McLean of the KHI News Service has more on the story.
