Senator Pat Roberts is denouncing a New York Times article that criticizes the three-term Republican for reinventing himself in a "desparate attempt to re-establish ties" to Kansas. The article also claims that Roberts has failed to maintain a residence in Kansas since being elected to Congress in 1981. Roberts issued a statement yesterday (FRI) calling the New York Times article full of false and misleading statements and criticizing reporter Jonathan Martin for writing it with a "clear agenda."
