KS Felon Gets Second Chance in College Football

UPDATE: Washburn's football game this Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium has been moved to the campus of Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, due to inclement weather in the Kansas City area.

Vershon Moore was once a rising star on the Washburn football team. But then he robbed a bank and spent two-and-a-half years in prison. He was down...and almost out of luck. But Moore is back on his feet and back on the team. He’ll be back playing for the Ichabods this Saturday. Kansas Public Radio’s Greg Echlin has the story on his remarkable return.
