Writer Ann Hagedorn (HAGG-uh-dohrn), a former fellow at the Hall Center for the Humanities at KU, will discuss her latest book in downtown Kansas City tomorrow (SAT). "The Invisible Soldiers" is an examination of how and why the United States has been relying on private security firms and contractors for military needs.

Ann Hagedorn was the 2008 Kansas City Public Library writer-in-residence. She'll discuss her book on Saturday, November 1 at 2 p.m.  at the Barnes & Noble bookstore on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.
