Benedictine Basketball Player Breaks New Ground

The NAIA men’s basketball tournament concluded last (TUE) night in Kansas City. Benedictine College of Atchison made its first appearance in 44 years at the championship, which features teams from smaller colleges. But that’s not the only reason people were talking about the Ravens. As Kansas Public Radio’s Greg Echlin reports, the team’s place in history is marked by its inclusion of an openly gay player.
